| Pressure Sand Filter |

Pressurised sand filters work by forcing water at pressure through a bed of carefully graded medias such as Graded pebbles, Coarse & fine silex that collects any dirt and suspended solids upto 150microns present in the water.
A pressure gauge can be fitted to the sand filter to indicate when it is time to clean or backwash the unit.
The unit incorporates a large diameter drain port with a removable non-clogging strainer so that it can be easily emptied of just water or both sand and water. |
